The Commission meets monthly, typically on the second Tuesday at 7:00.  All are welcome to attend; however, please check with the parish or school office for any changes in meeting times or dates.  

The following committees report to the School Commission.

Facilities Committee:
This committee oversees the school facilities and maintains documentation necessary for preventative maintenance, repairs and/or renovations. This committee also has representation on the Parish Facilities Committee, a committee of the Finance Commission.

Finance Committee:
This committee is responsible for budgeting and overseeing school finances. These volunteers work with the school administrator to prepare the annual budget to present to the Finance Commission for approval. A representative of this committee also sits on the
Finance Commission.

Membership Committee:
This committee recruits volunteers for the commission and its committees and provides opportunities for spiritual growth and in-service training for these volunteers.

Development Committee:
This ministry is a sub-committee of the School Commission and helps support and organize the separate efforts of the Development Subcommittees of PTO, Communications, Spring Benefit, Planned Giving, Annual Fund and Enrollment.

Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO):
This organization is supportive of our school through various fund raising and volunteering opportunities.  These volunteers may serve as classrooom parents, recess monitors, or assist in fund-raising endeavors such a Market Day.

School Communications Committee:
This ministry is a sub-committee of School Commission Development and is responsible for written communications and social media content for the school commission.

Spring Benefit Committee:
This ministry is a sub-committee of School Commission Development and is responsible for the school's annual fundraising dinner which allows the school to maintain lower tuition costs.  It works in coordination with the Enrollment/Marketing ministry.  These ministers are responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the various elements within the annual fund dinner.

Planned Giving:
This ministry is a sub-committee of School Commission Development and coordinates fundraising efforts targeting long-term estate planning opportunities

Annual Fund:
This ministry is a sub-committee of School Commission Development and coordinates fundraising efforts targeting separate constituency groups such as Alumni, Grandparents, local businesses, etc.

School Enrollment:
This ministry is a sub-committee of School Commission Development and coordinates efforts in student enrollment and marketing to the community.  Major activities include the Irvington Halloween Festival, Spring Open House, year round information signs and advertising.  This is a key committee in encouraging attendance by getting the word out about the many academic opportunities available at Our Lady of Lourdes School.
